Welcome to the Queer Town Abbey Equal Rights Blog Hop!
What was your first experience in the LGBT community?
One does not have to be lesbian, gay, transgendered or bisexual to be a part of the LBGT commmunity. In fact, much to many people's delight, the lines of the LGBT community are blurring. The LGBT community is integrating into humankind as a whole. Gay marriage, equal treatment in the workplace, media and television exposure, and literature are helping us make huge strides in equality. What was once taboo is now commonplace. What was once a hush hush subject is now openly discussed.
We all have a 1st experience with either the gay community or simply one gay person. How was your experience? Was it scary, easy, strange, sexual, or non-sexual? Enter a one word comment below & enter to win the entire 4 part SEASIDE SURRENDER erotic romance collection (electronic version)
My 1st experience in the LGBT community was at the age of 21, running into a childhood friend, my 1st crush to be exact, and him taking me out for a drink at a gay bar in Boston. It was a fun experience, and not altogether surprising when he came out of the closet.Even at a young age he was colorful and flamboyant in a delightfully artistic manner.
After that I befriended a huge number of friends, who happen to be gay, who to this day brighten my world.
